MINERALES EXPANDIDOS, S.A. DE C.V.

Dicamex´s filter aids are obtained form hydrated, naturally occurring volcanic rock called Perlite at our mine in the state Puebla, Mexico.

The ore is heated up in a range of temperatures between 900º and 1100º C. Due to the high molecular water within the particle, we can expand it up to 20 times its original size, thus eliminating all the organic and inorganic impurities.

Then the expanded mineral is milled, pneumatically selected and bagged; all of these steps are carried out without the involvement of human handwork.
This process is the product of continuous research and more than 40 years of experience.

During the process of manufacturing the filter aids, strict quality controls are applied, producing a vast range of degrees available, and undergoes a strictly physical procedure that allows that allows us to offer the same chemical properties in the wide range of permeability.
